Russ' Ramblings .....

Well Sunday was a lot of fun. Over 80 kids competed in a great competition and Sol Solution sung by Whitney Kelly won a Runner up. Great Day for letting 100's of people hear "we got to make a change". Good Job Whitney !!!

Well it has been a busy few weeks and we have been planning with Trinity Solar. For those of you who have not met Trinity Solar yet let me take a minute to introduce them.

We started this project last summer (8/07) with the idea of creating team competition for middle school kids. The kids would take on simple projects and we would create a DIY (Do It Yourself) alternate energy, fun, internet show for middle school kids.

We put 6 kids, with a group of adults (by chronological age) in my shop along the plans and materials for 4 solar cookers.

Our objective: See if we could make science fun for kids.
