Getting 'US' to organized craziest !!!

We started this project last summer (8/07) with the idea of creating team competition for middle school kids. The kids would take on simple projects and we would create a DIY (Do It Yourself) alternate energy, fun, internet show for middle school kids.

We put 6 kids, with a group of adults (by chronological age) in my shop along the plans and materials for 4 solar cookers.

Our objective: See if we could make science fun for kids.

The kids that joined that group became the Sol Solution Project kids and the 'adults' well .... I will tell you the story (-:

As time allows going forward, I will try to introduce all of the people that let us get this far and hopefully share my vision of where we can go.

For those of you my age (57), alternate energy and sustainable living are not a problem; we will all be in a pine box the time it could be a crisis. BUT, if you have kids my daughters age (11) what we do here could make a difference.

Since last August a great team of people contributed lots of good ideas and hard work. The kids worked very are to create something special and I am sure as we continue to release sciClips you will agree.
